Open to: The Cornell community and all those interested in technology-based entrepreneurship.

Attendees listened and participated in a discussion on intellectual property and their relation to plants.  

They learned about topics like:

  • What kind of plant is patentable?
  • What is the difference between a Plant Patent and a Plant Variety Protection Certificate (PVPC)?
  • How long does protection last for a Plant Patent? PVPC?

Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions of our speaker and CCTEC professionals during this open forum event.

Pizza, salad and drinks were served.
