What types of inventions are eligible for patenting? And what are the benefits?

Gary Abelev, Partner with Andrews Kruth LLP, and CTL staff talked about what intellectual property protections are available in the medical space and the importance of such protections when developing new technologies.

Discussions on the categories of protection, the patenting process, and possible strategies for licensing medical technologies were also explored.
