As part of the university's commitment to economic development and outreach, CTL hosts a variety of events to create connections between the Cornell campuses, industry members, entrepreneurs, and investors.
Seminar and Social Hour™
November 19, 2008 - 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Open to: The Cornell community and all those interested in technology-based enterpreneurship.
Marvin Pritts, Chair of the Horticulture Department, presented his "high tunnel berry production system". This novel fruit production system, along with Cornell's proprietary berry varieties, allows significant season extension, high yields, and synchronized harvests. MBA students learned about this unique business opportunity over hors d'oeuvres.
